I got my hands on an ARC of this book, and while it isn't perfect by any means, it's a fun, fast read that I found quite enjoyable despite its flaws. I'm not sure when it's due to hit the shelves...

Network tv will screw it up, imo, regardless of who is behind the helm. There is no way a TV adaptation is anything less than a 3 season commitment, and there isn't a network studio out there that...
Thanks Nack, I'll look into that. Still can't see the other computers on the network, but I'll save that for another day.
Figured out a bit of a work-around... configured the router to specifically accept the laptop via its MAC address and everything seems happy now.
And yes, Jubs, the Windows utility is...
It can be set to any combination of B, G, and N. I have it on MIXED (the default setting) which accepts everything. I'll confirm the laptop capability and try limiting to just that mode.
