I was watching ESPN sport Center last night and they were interviewing Curt Schilling, a pitcher for the Red Sox. He had on a black baseball hat with "EverQuest" on the front in gold.

Even so, such bitterness over a level 10ish character's death? Boy I would hate to see if he was 65 and left to rot in Ferubi or such, he just might shoot a dog and burn a house down over that. :P

I remember reading an interview with author R. A. Salvatore about him playing EQ (it might have been an Allakhazam's). I think he even gave out his character name and server--brave man.

Schilling has written a review or two on EQ's expansions for PC Gamer as well. I know he was the reviewer for Planes of Power, and I think Luclin too.

R.A. Salvatore plays on Firiona Vie, I believe.

Also heard Britney Spears plays EQ, but I doubt the validity of that one...

Well, he's going to edit them . I think he's got a staff of writers who will actually compile them. Hopefully they turn out to be something worth reading. I've always been interested in a little bit deeper side of EQ Lore.

Hmm...books to be published several times per year starting in summer 2004 with strategy tips laid out in them...think this is yet another attempt by Sony to keep folks interested in EQ with WoW coming out? Gee, I wonder....
