    Question about restore

I always backup and restore to a seperate hard drive.... never a problem.

Now I have a solid TB of hard drive thats full. My coumputer doesn't like it. Its an ugly red line showing computer disc space. I have never had a secondary HD this big and I have never ever filled one up before.....LOL. Best easiest fix? Suggestions? Should I just format the secondary, the set a restore point? Is there some way to set this thing where it only backs up changed data? I just gotta believe that I have not backed this much up before or I would have had this problem before.

So whatcha think? Would a format be the way to go?

    Re: Question about restore

What are you using to create backups?
Windows backup only updates files that have been added/modified since the last backup.
It by default doesn't backup program files either.

    Re: Question about restore

Do you know what's filled it up? If not, ccleaner.com has a great utility for helping you remove temporary stuff and legacy crap that's stuck around.

Otherwise, if it's full of backups, how far back are you keeping said backups? How often are your backups?
