I caught up because I heard (thanks for the spoiler dad) what happened in the most recent season. I like the blonde, I miss Ziva, but the show is still quite good. It's going to change a lot now, will be interested to see what they do.

That show is remarkably progressive, and people don't even realize it. It's very patriotic and government agency driven, but also self critical, shows Muslims in good light as often as poor/terrorist light, has a very diverse cast not only racially, but sexually and disability wise too (as does Los Angeles and New Orleans incarnations). It has feel good moments and very deep reflective moments, and often raises some very provocative questions about ethics, good and evil, family, and politics.
